Trogon Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering accommodation. Trogon Cottage has WIFI. The unit is equipped with a stove(gas hob and electric oven), fridge/freezer, microwave and all the kitchen utensils you will need. Linen and towels are provided. Trogon Cottage has a single bedroom. Trogon Cottage has a King size bed which can be converted into two single beds depending on guests’ requirements. Please request the single beds if required . The inside fireplace is designed to be used as a braai when it is cold and wet. We supply a box of wood per day for the warming fire. Trogon also has a portable braai. Please bring charcoal and braai wood.
A view site, a short distance from the cottage, has been developed. It overlooks the forest from the shade of forest trees we planted a few years ago. Trogon Cottage has an inside shower and double bath. The outside private double bath is set in the garden among the plants for privacy. You and your partner can watch sunbirds exploring flowers looking for nectar from the double bath.
Trogon is not serviced daily. Hot water is supplied by an electric geyser with a wood burning donkey(geyser) as back up. The units do not have TV’s. Smokers please smoke outside. Regret no pets allowed.
The cottage is accessed by a 2km dirt road.
